I asked how to get there because I was not sure after parking and a helpful person pointed me the right way. The park is well shaded and has the coolest stream for the pups. Afterward, you can visit the brewery right at the exit

The way the map takes you leads to a back way of the park. But you can drive around to a parking lot by a restaurant/pub. It’s so much easier to get in that way. Otherwise I really really like this dog park. It’s a beautiful place full of trees, a small stream, and very mild terrain.
A little difficult to find, but worth the trip. The dog park is fully-enclosed and has a huge variety of fun things for the dogs–great trails, a bridge, and lots of places to explore. Park near New Terrain Brewery–it’s a lot closer than parking near the trailhead or in the sports complex parking lot. Bring your own water.
this is an ACTUAL dog park! what i mean by that is there is trees, heavy foliage, sticks & a little pond / stream creek to play in! other dog parks in the metro area were just fenced areas to run around in with none of the other amenities. we had so much fun playing with the other dogs & all the owners were super friendly. the area is really nice also with a dog friendly brewery to grab a drink & sports complex so lots of baseball / softball kids came in to play with the pups. 10/10 dog park will return!
My favorite dog park I’ve been to! This is the first dog park my dog has felt comfortable at and didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. It’s pretty big and has so many trees and shrubs. The back feels like you’re walking in a mini forest and offers some seclusion for more anxious pups.
