My friend and I had a great 3 hour walk down the Goffstown rail trail. The foliage is starting to show its colors and was so pretty. Lots of people coming and going. Some biking, Walking, with their dogs and solo walkers.

It’s a nice easy trail to walk or bike. Wide lanes and smooth dirt trail. If you do the entire 5 or so miles you will cross the road a couple times. There’s a walk light to stop traffic and there wasn’t a long wait for the walk signal.
In the last mile or so of the trail, if you’re lucky chickens will greet you. 🙂

Well maintained, beautiful ride along the lake & river. Easy parking at a trailhead about 1 mile from the Goffstown end. Found the parking easily with Google maps.
