My first visit was amazing. I arrived about 11am on a sunny, 70 degree Saturday and there was ample parking. Easy trails all along the lake. Ample benches, if you’re into that. Glorious nature and wildlife. I just loved it and can’t wait to return to do the entire lake!

A beautiful and very doable hike. Slight inclines make for good cardio hike. And you can mix up the trails to do a mile, 2 miles, 3, 5 and over 7 miles if you want. Lots of nature, so a great for non hikers, too. Trails marked by green ( hiking) or blue ( multipurpose )diamonds with a 5k running trail integrated into both.

This is an a great park/ nature trail area. There is plenty of parking with handicap parking. The trail is a multi use (Hiking, horse, bike) and very nice track through the woods with multiple loops. The playground was really great and a big hit with our kids. It is handicap/ small kid accessible with a ramp that goes from the bottom to the top. There is also benches, picnic tables, and a pavilion with restrooms.
