This is one of the most delightful playgrounds I’ve ever visited. My kids (ages 4 and 7) were absolutely obsessed with it — I think they were fascinated by the throwback playground equipment (swings, slides, see-saws), and loved that it felt like the playground was in the middle of nature, instead of in a suburban subdivision or something.Whoever built this place is amazing, and I’m grateful that it’s here. You rock, Glenwood.

A neat little park in a neat little village. Has more going for it than my hometown’s park, and Bay Prairie is larger. Swings, a slide, basketball court, baseball field, tables, grills, trash barrels, plenty of shade, and a working water spigot. The covered pavilion thing has bathrooms (locked in Sundays, I reckon) and a stage. Nice.
