Crescenta Valley Dog Park offers a fantastic spot for dogs and their owners in Glendale, CA. Nestled within Crescenta Valley Park, this dog park is known for its large, shaded areas beneath mature trees, making it a comfortable place for pets to run and play even during warm Southern California days. The park features separate fenced spaces for small and large dogs, benches for owners, and plenty of green surroundings to enjoy. Ample parking, clean restrooms, and proximity to pet-friendly trails make this an ideal destination for families and dog lovers alike.
One unique aspect of Crescenta Valley Dog Park is its tranquil setting, offering not only amenities for dogs but also picnic tables, public restrooms, and kid-friendly hiking opportunities throughout Crescenta Valley Park. The dog park is open every day from 7 am to 9 pm, except for Tuesdays and Fridays when maintenance is scheduled. Water for washing paws and shade for comfort are particularly popular among visitors, and nearby family activities, such as a skatepark across the street, add to its appeal.
The main park is green grass and lots of shade. There is also a clean restroom. This park is on leash only. The off leash dog park is dirt, largely covered in the shade of big trees. There are lots of places to sit, and there are separate areas for large and small dogs.
Awesome dog park. Shade, big rocks to climb on, benches, and bathrooms.
the dog area is very good! but people who come there with their HUGE dogs in the section for SMALL dogs make me angry! we came today to walk our small dog of the York breed, she weighs 6 lbs. at that moment a lady comes in with this big dog and says don’t worry, he’s calm. how calm he is!!! he ran after our little girl and knocked her over. I have a question: why then did they make a division into areas for large and small dogs?! if people are not particularly smart, they can’t even go to the area they should go to!
Because of this woman we had to stop playing with our dog and leave the playground
My dog Dasher loves Crescenta Valley Dog Park. She has a large group of morning dog friends. There is a large and small dog area. Lots of trees and plenty of space for the dogs to run. The bonus is it’s surrounded by Crescenta Valley Park with plenty of space to walk your dog and enjoy the beauty of the Crescenta Valley.
This dog park is a fantastic spot for your family’s furry friend. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and is not overly crowded, making it a great place to relax. Ample parking is available right by the entrance, and the neighborhood appears safe with people jogging around. Adjacent to the dog park is an actual park perfect for a nice picnic. Additionally, across the street, there is another park with a skatepark for kids, making it a fun outing for the whole family.
One of the standout features of this dog park is the provision of water for washing your dog’s paws after playtime. Clear signs indicate that while it’s primarily for big dogs, all sizes are welcome. They even offer free obedience classes that cater to everyone. The park is open every day from 7 am to 9 pm, except for Tuesdays and Fridays for maintenance.
The park provides benches for owners to relax and shaded areas for comfort. There are also a couple of rock obstacles for dogs to enjoy and have fun on. Overall, this dog park offers a great experience for both dogs and their owners.
