Small unsaved road to enter/exit. Decent amount of parking. Nice looking pavilion with picnic tables, but i came for a walk. Trails are laid out a bit weird. Trails are simply cut grass, so they’re not a good choice after rain.

A former unoccupied good m house been torn down by the county. The park is an outstanding swampy forest with a thick understory. The trails are wet most of the year. Sneakers won’t do. Great natural area to see birds.

This is a lesser known place, but it’s great for a short walk in the woods, or a local campout – there is a fire ring, shelter, & Gaga pit. There is a house on the property, the water is not safe for drinking or washing, but it does mean there are indoor flush toilets. There are several short trails that are an easy walk.

With all the moisture over the last 2 yrs it is boggy. The road in is good but the trails have not been maintained. Lots of flies. But it is peaceful. Nice for short dog walk

Morton Fox

It’s not a very large park area but the trails it has are well-marked, with a map at each intersection showing where you are. You can’t beat that kind of navigational assistance!
