Visited this spot for the first time and I was really impressed at what a nice place this is to go walking with your dog or family, to bring a picnic, or to go fishing. There are long and short paths, depending on what you would like, and a ton of area to explore. The water is beautiful and the nature is abundant. We enjoyed doing a little exploring and can’t wait to go back and do more. The paths are wide enough to be easily walked and to push a stroller. There are plenty of open spaces for picnics, and a few benches as well. The bridges are pituresque and there is a lot of enchanting little spots to take pictures. There is a colored rock garden that would be fun to look through and add to. I think this is an absolutely lovely spot if you are in the Gentry area.
We love taking walks here, an seeing Jake the snake grow (rock snake)…an today 5 deer ran across the trail…seeing my kid an dogs eyes light up when we come here brings me absolute happiness. An make sure you pick up after you an your loved ones an fur babies.
Great place for families and kids! Just a couple minutes down paved trails to easy creek access plus grassy fields to run around and beautiful blue water so clear you can see the fish. Shady resting benches throughout. Only drawback I didn’t see any bathrooms on site. But the Sleepy Hollow gas station is right across the highway for potty emergencies. Also didn’t see any park grills for cookouts so don’t plan for that. All in all it’s a beautiful peaceful place for easy nature walks. Highly recommend!

It’s a peace full little park for the hole family with a bike trail and station to fix your bikes if need be.There is water accses and is pet frendly.
