This is not a fancy motel by any means. It is very old, but pretty clean.
The staff were top notch! Very helpful and pleasant.
There are no amenities. The beds definitely need upgraded. We had springs in our backs all night which was very uncomfortable.
My only real complaints are that the beds aren’t very comfortable, my back hurt so bad, and the TV is SO SMALL that I had to sit on the edge of the bed. Otherwise, beautiful exterior, the staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were nice, has everything you need for a longer stay … fridge, microwave, cook top, sink etc. Would definitely stay again, but next time, I’m definitely bringing an eggshell roll up mattress!
We had a really great stay here! What really stood out was the amazing staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. The man at the desk offered to give us a ride home from the bar in town. You can tell they really care about their customers! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. I would definitely stay here again!
You could hear people around walking upstairs. You could hear the wall heater turn on
from other rooms. The beds were like sleeping on a hammock. You could even hear people flushing the toilet and clearing their throat from upstairs at eleven o’clock at night.
The Garden Valley Hotel is a cute little gem. The lady checking us in was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is older but it’s clean. I’ve stayed here several times and always felt safe. It’s a must stay.
