Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Clubhound is a standout dog park in Garden City, Idaho, offering far more than your average off-leash area. Located at 415 E Remington St, this privately operated facility boasts a massive, fully fenced, and securely enclosed space where dogs can socialize freely, run off-leash, and enjoy a safe, clean environment. Clubhound is uniquely staffed with attentive "Rufferees" to ensure safety and fun for every canine visitor. All dogs using the park are required to be vaccinated, with most fixed and well-socialized, creating a calmer and more welcoming atmosphere compared to typical public dog parks.
Amenities at Clubhound go above and beyond: expect water fountains scattered throughout, a convenient dog bath station, shaded areas, plenty of seating, and a meticulously maintained environment. For humans, enjoy an on-site coffee bar, rotating snacks, beer and wine, cozy fire pits, heaters for cooler months, and a lively social scene that welcomes remote workers and families alike. Clubhound is not just a dog park—it’s a vibrant community hub designed to make dog ownership in the Treasure Valley an absolute pleasure.
Howl loves Clubhound!
We make the drive from Nampa at least once a week to play. Miles better than a dog park and we can’t wait to move back to Boise so we can come more often. The staff is so friendly and truly care about the dogs.
Really great dog park! But it’s more than a dog park, it’s also a bar, café, hangout spot, remote, work location, etc. The staff are super nice and helpful, and they’re always paying attention to the dogs. I have never seen a dog fight here. My kids love coming, and it’s always great when they have food trucks here. Highly recommend People get memberships here! But you don’t need one to come, you can do it as a one off, but it’s fabulous.
I am on a road trip and stopped in Idaho for a week. This place was a miracle – I was able to work remotely while my pup ran around and had fun. There is a bar, snacks, coffee etc. I ended up coming here 4 days in a row. It is a very social environment as well, especially in the evening. Staff is so friendly and loves your dog. A great vibe and highly recommend!
If you prefer your bars to have a dog to human ratio of 1:1, this is for you. People are extremely friendly (both staff and pet parents). You get to pet all the dogs. It’s great. Honestly I’d have a good time even if I didn’t bring my dog. Tech side is pretty easy as well from the app QR code.
June says she enjoys the smells and being able to meet all the humans (aka treat patrol). She enjoys the big yard (good smells), and is working on being more socials. She says zero stars for the pet wash station, smelling like geese poop is preferred. However, her human is thankful for the resource.
My cat person friend had an okay time.
I joined Clubhound last summer after years of daily visits to public dog parks with my dog, Baloo. We’d had more than our share of stressful experiences—dog fights, unsafe layouts with no fencing, and even a serious case of drug-resistant Giardia. I was ready for something better, and Clubhound delivered from day one.
The difference is immediately clear. All dogs are vaccinated, generally fixed, and well-socialized, which means the energy is calm and friendly. There are dedicated staff—called “Rufferees”—who monitor play and make sure everyone is safe and having fun. It’s also spotless. The team is incredibly attentive about cleanliness, especially when it comes to poop pickup and general maintenance.
The space itself is incredible: a massive, securely enclosed area for dogs to run freely, plus water fountains throughout, a dog bath station, and plenty of places to rest. For humans, it’s just as appealing. There’s a coffee bar for the mornings, beer and wine for later in the day, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Fire pits and heaters keep things cozy during cooler months, and there’s a steady stream of remote workers using it as a third space during the day. Everyone is kind, open, and happy to chat—you really get the sense of a community here.
Baloo absolutely loves it. He’s become better at socializing with both dogs and people, and he even acts as the unofficial “sheriff” of the park, helping keep the peace with his 110 pounds of fluffy authority. He knows and loves nearly every dog there—and the staff know him by name.
I fully recommend Clubhound to every dog owner. Whether your pup needs serious exercise, confidence-building social time, or just a safe space to explore, this place delivers. It’s great for families, singles, remote workers, or anyone looking to enjoy a drink in the sun while their dog has the time of their life. I’m there every day, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
