The dog parks are perfect!
Really nice city parks with Little League Fileds, tennis/pickle ball courts, and a large and small dog park. City of Galveston did great wi this park.
great play for my kids to ride their bikes
My pups and I absolutely LOVE this place. Friendly people. The park is fairly clean and well kept. Lot of options on where to be, perfect for all types of dogs.
Had about ½ hr to kill between appointments. Since we had to bring the dogs to one of the appointments, I Googled ‘dog parks’ and went to this one.
It’s nice! There were 3 different areas for dogs. When we went, no one was there. The ‘big dog’ park had a few dogs in it.
There’s a gate. Walk in, close the gate, and walk into the play yard. There are plenty of activities for the dogs, although mine just wanted to run around.
There are benches, but they are outside the fenced area. People, thankfully, pick up their dogs poo, as we didn’t come across any. (Bags are provided)
Although we didn’t visit the entire park, it looked really nice. A play area for kids (with swings & slides). A couple playing tennis. A basketball court. Picnic tables under a pavilion. Sidewalk walking trails. And public bathrooms (although I didn’t use it, so I can not comment on that)
If I lived in Galveston, I could see us visiting there often.
