Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Clover Park offers a peaceful escape for dog lovers and their furry friends in Galloway, Ohio. Known for its tranquil atmosphere, this dog-friendly park is perfect for relaxing walks, birdwatching (you might spot rare cranes or egrets), and enjoying beautiful sunsets over scenic ponds. Families will appreciate the pet-friendly trails winding through open grassy areas and woodlands—a favorite spot for fishing, too!
Although Clover Park doesn’t have some traditional amenities like playgrounds or shelters, it’s an ideal place for leashed dogs to enjoy nature, fresh air, and quiet moments by the water. Whether you’re looking to walk your dog, spend time fishing, or simply unwind in a less crowded green space, Clover Park is a local gem worth visiting.
Awesome saw a black crane they are very rare
Not really much here – theres a couple trails that lead to nowhere but the view of the ponds is quite nice around sunset. People were fishing as well
Big pond with ducks, geese, and a couple white egrets. There is a trail by pond that leads into “woods”. Not shady at all.
There is Clover cemetery within park.
Clover Park isn’t the typical park that has shelters, grills and a play area for kids to play. This park is a great place to take your dog for walk and an awesome park to fish. There is one main pond and another pond in the rear along side of a bog. All of three contain fish. Bass, Bluegill, and Crappie. I’ve love visiting the park to fish and not a bad fishing trip yet.
Nice quiet place to chill. I love it. A place to get some peace of mind, enjoy nature, and laugh at the geese!
