This is where I met the love of my life and the father of my children for the very first time. I was still a very young adult, and he was not only a total stranger but also 10 years older than me. He was dressed as a martial artist complete with ninja shoes carried with him 2 swords a set of nunchucks and a staff. I watched him practice his routine as he moved my soul. It must have been fate for lack of better explanation because as he finished I was compelled to do something so out of character, normally I was very well-behaved kid slightly shy, and didn’t break many rules, especially talking to strangers. I was about 12 that summer and I hopped of the play area strutted right up to him, as he looked so taken aback by why this little girl was approaching; I said “Hi. I’m going to marry you someday!” He scoffed and laughed a little replying “oh you are, are you?” “Yes! I am!” I replied. “Well…I guess I’ll see you ‘someday’ then” he said. I nodded and we both walked away then 6 years later fate struck again and we met for the second time. I had my first apartment he was hired as maintenance and that time I was grown. That was only the beginning, It’s been 16 years now and he’s still my best friend and love of my life! …❤️ Always and Forever My Love! 💋
