It’s a rest stop. This place has everything you could expect from a rest stop. Ample parking for both cars and big rigs. Clean rest rooms. Vending machines. Pet exercise area. Plenty of picnic tables in nicely groomed grassy areas. Looks like it might be a nice place to take a break, stretch out and eat a packed lunch al fresco.
Very nice stop. A little older and smaller. But still about 30 spots for cars and 25 spots for RVs and semi trucks.
Even if you’re a semi driver and you wanna park on the entrance or exit ramp on the side? They’re not gonna give you a hard time. Especially if you’re trying to sleep.
This rest Stop is pretty clean even if it is a little bit colder it has lots of picnic tables and a really great view of a forest. The vending machines are all new and some even except Apple Pay and they all take credit cards.
The restrooms, while old, all had an automatic flushing toilets and we’re very clean and well-maintained. The hand dryer’s were newer.
In the lobby of the restroom areas included a map where you were at the governor local information and helpful tips on Covid things like that. Once again all well-maintained.
There are also a couple of dumpsters that you are allowed to use so if you’ve been traveling for a few days? You can clean out your car if you see fit.
There is a sanitary water fountain, for refilling water bottles while you travel. There’s also a family unisex restroom. Additionally there are human trafficking help lines inside each stall. Which I thought was very humanitarian. Very cool.
They also include little doggy bag so you can clean up your pets mess.
Overall a little bit smaller, but if you’re just getting out of the Columbus area? This is a good stock to hit and if I recall there’s a couple truckstops about 5 miles up the freeway. Northbound.
Very small rest area and it’s located right next to the highway so it’s tremendously noisy 🙉.
Very nice shaded picnic tables.
Also a barbecue grill♨️.
Not sure who would stay here long enough to have a barbecue? 🤷🏻♂️
The bathrooms🚻 are pretty nice and they are air conditioned.
But they need to be cleaned more often🧼🚽
It is nice to have automatic faucets with hot water😀
An absolutely lovely rest area along I-71, this has the usual parking areas and a building with restrooms. I also really appreciated the picnic area with tables that’s under trees. I sat here for a bit with my phone to enjoy a little bit of nature before driving onwards.
