What a find! We loved biking this trail so much it made me want to move closer just so we could enjoy it more often.
My experience with the trail was just to get in shape jogging but try to catch it at sunrise or sunsets and just pretty much strengthened my spiritual life style as well and the wildlife that comes so close to yah is awesome and just lots of aspects of nature and helped me with my recovery with addiction as well with knowing there’s something way bigger than me going on in this world and helped me grow being alone on that trail jogging , walking and prayer man , pretty deep , I know but brought a lot to my life with the work on myself , also those morning runs cleared my head and set a awesome pace foe my day and just made me greatful. 😁
Super nice campground right on the creek directly off the New River trail with very nice spots, clean bathrooms, and a good layout. Really enjoyed our night here and will be returning for longer stays in the future. One of my new favorite campgrounds. Close walk from the parking lot over a nice bridge with good views of the creek each direction. Lots of room for kids to play and looked like a really nice playground down from parking lot as well. Highly recommend!
