This place is difficult for me to review. I like what they are trying to do……I met up with some friends at Lebowski’s Pup Pub who wanted to check out an adoption fair.The pub has two sides.One side is a dog park where dogs can play without a leash.The other side is a bar. It has tables and couches for bar patrons. There were games, a DJ and a food truck. They had an inflatable axe throwing setup. That was cool!The bar isn’t really in good condition. It’s grimy and doesn’t look clean or well kept.The bar side is set up on asphalt. It was hot and probably half of the tables didn’t have shade. That isn’t good when the temperatures are high.Dogs were sitting on the furniture on the bar side. The couches and chairs stink. They have dog fur on them. You will smell like dog if you sit anywhere on the bar side. Don’t wear nice clothes or plan to go somewhere else afterwards. I didn’t stay long. When I go to a bar I don’t want to have to change clothes after leaving.They have a small parking lot. It was full when I got there, but there is free parking across the street.This was going to be a 1 star review. I upped it to 2 stars, because they were trying to get dogs adopted. This is based solely on my experience with the bar section. I didn’t go into the dog park.
A wonderful spot for owners and their pups. I stopped in with my husband and our dog while our other dog was receiving care at UF Small Animal Hospital, and it was a relaxing and comfortable environment for us. The employee who was working that day was kind, attentive, helpful, and easy to chat with.Plenty of seating, parking, and drink options available. The space was clean and really large for both off-leash areas and leashed areas.
Love to bring my German shepherd pup here to learn to socialize and make new friends. Every single dog owner that has walked in here is incredibly friendly and a great dog owner. Also, the 3 bowncers I’ve met so far are super qualified and nice; they pay attention to all dogs and make sure none of the dogs over step another dog’s boundaries. The membership prices are great and so worth the fun my pup and I have here. The process to register was easy and fast. My partner and I will miss this place so much when we leave ❤️
Hands down, our favorite place in Gainesville! As if being able to drink and hang out with your dogs isn’t enough, you’re surrounded by dog lovers. I bought a year pass for my pups and it’s been more than worth it! The bowncers are very attentive at keeping the water bowls full and keeping all the pups safe! The bartenders are all AMAZING and so friendly and personable! My dogs always have an amazing time and have made so many new (dog and human) friends! I threw their 4th birthday pawty here and all my friends had a great time. Oh yeah, and there’s delicious local food trucks often! Pls stop reading this review and go enjoy this paradise!!!
Awesome place to relax and hang out with friends and let your dogs let off some energy at the same time. Came after work without my dog just to check it out and signed her up up the very next day, reasonable annual membership rate that ensures all dogs in the park are healthy and up to date on their shots and such. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and their procedure and the layout of the place ensured that your dog was having fun and staying safe the entire time. Also a great selection of beer wine and liqour that is priced fairly. Overall a great fun place and I plan to be back often!
