So glad they fixed the boardwalk so one can enjoy the island once again.
Very nice walking area. Lots of trash around the area. It’s so sad to see it. I don’t understand why people have to litter.
I walk my dogs here frequently to enjoy this beautiful park. The scenery from the boardwalk is stunning at times! It’s a shame that people leave trash on the ground at the 11th Street entrance.
One o my favorite places to visit in Gadsden. The boardwalk is nice. The birding is great. The small island that you end up on at the end of one part of the boardwalk is great for birds. I have seen someone that appeared to be camping there, though it is a day use site. The trails on the island can get very wet in rainy weather.
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! IT’S SO QUIET AND PEACEFUL.. I LOVE THE PLACE PERIOD. THE WALK WAYS EXTEND OUT OVER THE WATER FOR 90% OF THE TIME AND DISTANCE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE PEACEFUL TO TAKE A WALK.. HERE IS THE PLACE. ITS KINDA DANGEROUS TO BRING KIDS AS IS ANY WILD LIFE PARK..
