I’m very disappointed that I can’t enjoy it. They should open it up to the public.

Absolutely absurd there’s a key pad to limit access to a DOG PARK.

We were in the area and Googled “Dog Park”, got here to find it empty and locked. One lady was entering with her dog, but very snobbishly informed us it’s only for members. Hopefully her dog has fun playing alone…

Maple Lawn Dog Park — for HOA registered dogs only. No public access. Entrance at intersection of Elmwood and Lager. Fully fenced, large dog and small dog sections. Large dog area has limited agility obstacles.

I felt inclined to say something,
I live in Maple lawn and this is dumb.
It’s so lonely to go here during the hours I go with my dog. I just go to W. o. rthington dog park..

This dog park should at least have a pay per day or register your dog with the HOA, to allow more dogs for the ones who already go here.

It’s like having a kids playground and saying only the kids who live in this neighborhood can play. Kids and dogs don’t know the difference. If they know how to play nice and they’re registered or pay for the fee and owners are responsible, then this is just so unnecessarily segregating.

It’s just unfortunate. Also, someone posted a picture of their dog, and the dog looks sad by itself. Smh 😩😭
