Looking for a peaceful dog park in Friendsville, TN? Friendsville New Generation Park offers a quiet, well-maintained space where dogs and their owners can relax and play away from the crowds. The park features a secure, fenced-in area designated for dogs with shady spots, benches, and pet-friendly trails that wind through both open and wooded sections, perfect for letting your furry friend explore off-leash. The wooded area in the large dog section provides an exciting experience for energetic pups who love to run and play in nature.
This dog-friendly park is appreciated for its cleanliness, plentiful seating, and thoughtful amenities such as poop bags, trash bins, and access to drinking water. There’s a separate, smaller dog area for tiny companions, and the main dog area boasts a mix of open turf and shaded forest. While families will find a pleasant playground and picnic areas nearby, visitors should note the restroom is a portable facility and the terrain in the large dog section can be rugged. Friendsville New Generation Park is a gem for both dogs and kids, making it an ideal pet-friendly destination in Blount County.
Really cool! I take my little cousins there and they love it. They have the cool swings where the guardian can swing on the same swing as the child! Really cool.
Great park. Kids really enjoyed it. Monkey bars are the only thing missing.
Nice little park with a jungle gym with a few slides. Swings for toddlers and kids up to 7-8. This place is definitely for younger aged children which is nic.
This is my favorite park in the area. The location is quiet and it doesn’t get as busy as other parks in Blount county. It’s super clean and well maintained.
They have added a shaded area with tables and several play houses. They even have 3 different types of swings. I would love it even more if they would build a restroom instead of having an outhouse. My newly potty trained toddler refuses to use the outhouse so we have to either cut our time short or I have to put a pull up on her. All in all this is a fantastic park with a great location.
Nice addition to the town of Friendsville. They’ve but a nice playground and picnic area in. There is not a public restroom, but there was a large porta potty set up which is helpful for when you have small kids.
