My favorite park in Queens, New York. There’s a beautiful lake with so much life (swans, turtles. Ducks Frogs. Etc). There’s different trails. There’s a few playgrounds throughout the park. Public bathrooms are available. Many seating areas throughout
🦋I love seeing my butterflies here – thanks to this incredible organization that planted a pollinator garden and takes care of the place. (Park rangers need to learn and become better).
🦋I love seeing Hawks here… there’s a few
🦋I’ve seen a fox here once

– great to celebrate
– tennis courts

⚠️the park needs to work on the lantern fly situation. I am very upset to see a lot of my favorite trees affected by them and put down.
⚠️also, there are a few people who are mean to the wildlife. And many people feed them and / or throw things at them. … you shouldn’t go to a park to mistreat nature…

Overall, I highly recommend. My childhood growing up park that I visit all the time .

Need to do something about the lake, it smells bad in the summer. People need to know not to smoke at the park.
The Nice park for jogging meetup with friends. Has restrooms in multiple location. Tennis court baseball filed basketball etc. Sign says do not feed wildlife but seems like everybody ignore that. Street parking available around the park.

I passed by to visit their hiking trails – the signs are somewhat small, so be on the look out for them. The flowers are slowly coming out and there are a few animals roaming around – a few turtles hiding besides the pond and some swan resting along the hay stack. All quite peaceful

One of my favorite parks in Queens. It has a beautiful lake and you can see some swans. There’s a playground available for those with children. The atmosphere is pleasant and it’s a clean park. Winter or summer you will enjoy this beautiful park.
