Dog Park

Dog Park in Fremont, NE offers a spacious area divided into sections for small and large dogs, allowing them to exercise and socialize safely. It has wheelchair accessibility, nearby parking, picnic tables, and a covered seating area, although the shade protection could be improved. The park provides poop bags and trash bins, promoting cleanliness, and is well-liked for its potential and size. Some maintenance and community etiquette improvements could enhance the experience further.

Love the fact that this place is divided for small and larger dogs. Very clean place for dogs to go and have some fun.

Could be a nice place if people picked up their dogs poop and actually went in with the dogs instead of dropping them off. There is an old man that goes there in the morning who thinks he owns the place. Him and his little dog yelling at people.

It’s a decent park where there’s space for small and large dogs separately. Water, bags and trash can provided which some don’t take advantage of.

I wish they section it more. I really dont like my pup with others. Especially when shes out numbered an it gets a bit much. Shes a pit. But shes tiny. I end up leaving

We have been bringing our dog here for years and we (my wife, dog and I) really like it. The grounds themselves around the entrance and “people” area are not in the best of shape due to grass worn down and dogs digging but the rest of the area is nice and big for dogs to run and get their sniffs. The divided sides for the smaller dogs is also a perk and the different sized pooches can say hello through the chain link. The fact the parking is right next to the entrance is great on cold days. Even though there is a covered seating area, it doesn’t provide the best protection from the sun but is still a decent place to sit if you are so inclined. If the city would put a bit more effort into upkeep or improvements, this would definitely be a 5 out of 5 as the potential and possibilities are endless in such a large space.
