I visited Quarry Lakes Regional Park today with boarding dog, and it was such a wonderful experience! As a pet sitter, I’m always looking for clean, peaceful, and pet-friendly places—and this park checks all the boxes.
The walking trails are wide and well maintained, perfect for dogs of all sizes. Today, we saw three deer, countless geese, and plenty of playful squirrels. There are beautiful flowers all around, and we even came across some wild raspberries and mock strawberries.
Parking is NULL per day with unlimited in-and-out access (card only, no cash). It’s a great value considering how much there is to explore here.
Whether you’re walking your dog, enjoying time with family, or just need a quiet place to relax, I highly recommend Quarry Lakes. I’ll definitely be bringing more of my furry guests here again!
Very pretty spot for a run. Not too hilly and the track is great all the way through! There isn’t much cover, so it could get very hot when the sun is out. It was pleasant in the May morning that we went here for.
Great great great park with multiple lakes! There are beaches and beach volleyball playing too. Will defiantly come back.
Some parts are not dog friendly
Teeming with species of beautiful birds. Even saw a bald eagle caught a big fish! This park is a gem, right in the middle of the city. Easy access and ample parking. Well worth the NULL. Hike around the lakes, fishing, non-motorized boating, beach, picnic. Easily spend 2+ hours here.
