One of my favorite dog parks in the Bay Area. This location is clean, has a small obstacle course, shade for owners to stand, and especially responsible dog owners.
Everyone was welcoming and paid attention to their dog. It did get pretty crowded around 5 which is to be expected.
We went for a nice walk around Lake Elizabeth too. Huge plus when dog parks are next to a nice walking trail. Would be back!

Love coming here – the park always has dogs, the owners are responsible and friendly and everyone does a good job keeping it safe and clean. Parking is easy as well.

My dogs love this park and personally I also have a incredible time every time we go to this park.
The happiness of my dogs is one the most important thing, but having the opportunity to see so many beautiful dogs together is another treat. Very recommended and please bring your pups they deserve this.

Compared to reed, this is at least twice as big, at least.
Two water fountains
Two sitting areas
Agility hardware
Three entrances
Plenty squirrels outside to enrich their brains
Plenty parking spots, but maybe a little tight
Bathrooms are by softball field

Central Dog Park is a very large and well-maintained dog park that offers a lot for both dogs and their owners. One of the highlights is the agility parkour area, which adds an extra layer of fun and stimulation for active dogs who enjoy a bit of a challenge. The park is equipped with multiple water fountains, ensuring that dogs stay hydrated, especially on warmer days.
There’s plenty of shade throughout the park, which makes it comfortable for both dogs and their humans, and ample seating is available for those who want to relax while their pups play. The atmosphere is usually friendly and laid-back, with most pet parents being responsible and engaged.
Parking is another plus as there’s plenty of it, so you rarely have to worry about finding a spot, even though the park can get quite crowded during peak hours and weekends.
Overall, Central Dog Park is a solid choice for off-leash fun, whether you have a high energy pup or one that just enjoys socializing and exploring. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a clean, safe, and enjoyable outing for your furry companions. It’s one of the best dog friendly spaces in the area.
