Beutiful and well maintained. Only problem is some people don’t clean up after their dogs.
Great, location with family friendly amenities. Highly recommend visiting around sunset on a warm day as it is beautiful!
Beautiful sunset at this waterfront park but lots of bugs at least by sunset time so bring bug spray!
Nice park overlooking the water. Bathrooms on site. Good for Fishing, walking, picnicking, grilling. Tables available under shelter for small parties. There is a decent size playground, perfect for children 1-9 years old. It is quiet during the week and one can certainly come here and enjoy a peaceful lunch break with amazing water views and wonderful breeze in early June. Nice residential area, too. It can be a very relaxing spot. Beautiful sunsets. The place is always clean. Plenty of parking, too.
The walking path is dangerous it needs to be repaved. You can also tell they have not cleaned up since Sandy the hurricane. When the water rises above the railing and there is debris still laying around all over the grass and walkway like old fishing nets all over the place. This is supposed to be the main attraction for this town and they don’t maintain it even a little bit. Really sad if I lived here I would get together neighbors and we would go there and clean The amount of taxes that are paid in New York and Long Island are ridiculous and none of it goes to cleaning a small park 🏞️ if it’s that, the people who are maintaining the park don’t do their job then put them in different position cuz I know you guys can’t fire them for some reason . And hire somebody who actually cares about the way things look . Parks and recreation is a joke in this town where does your budget go? Sandy hit in 2012 and you haven’t cleaned up the debris from that hurricane in this park. Give me a break.
