I did not experience any “Mean or bad service” at all. The ladies were super friendly to us.
Some amenities were closed, yes. But did not disturb our stay at the campground.
Seems to need a couple things to be improved but overall, I liked the campground.
WiFi, definitely never worked for us and reception is bad. Which is common at all campgrounds.
I was looking for a calm, relaxing, peaceful and quiet place. Yes, I found it here.
My family and I enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back.
People will always be negative about anything or everything.
Enjoy life, we all just have one.
Just went for the first time this weekend. We took 2 campers and 4 adults and a dog. Owners were very nice and helpful. So many things to do there. Pool and splash pad were very clean. Ran out of time to play pickleball. Next time we will bring the grandchildren and RC cars to race. Sites in the woods, in the open fields or semi shaded. I wish it was closer to us but we will go back next summer.
Unfortunately this campground does not offer all that it claims to. Most of the amenities listed are out of order. After speaking with other long term campers the parts of the camp ground that they claim are “under renovations” have been closed for years with no sign of work or attempt to fix. The climbing wall, giant swing, cart track, arcade, were ALL closed. The showers were out of order. And we couldn’t use a golf cart. The camp ground was quite large and spread out which would be cool to go cruising in the golf cart but unfortunately it wasn’t allowed on the premises unless you were a long term camper. The grounds are not maintained and our site had weeds taller than an adult and growing through the picnic table that comes with the site. There is an RC car track that has a platform to stand on which my family was so looking forward to using but there was a bees nest the size of a basketball hanging from the platform. I’m not a bee expert but I don’t think that happens over night. When we informed the staff about it no one cared. The only reasons I gave two starts were for the pool and splash pad. They were clean and well cared for. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing about this campground. Either don’t claim to have a long list of cool amenities or fix up the camp ground, VERY disappointed. I would post pictures but it would just be photos of locked doors and locked gates.
We stayed at MM for 2 nights with the grandkids we had no issues at all. This is a great rv park way better than some KOA parks we’ve stayed at.The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and splash pad were great. There is plenty of space for the kids to roam and explore. I have to admit I read the reviews the day before we arrived and was seriously having second thoughts about visiting, but so glad we went I can’t speak for other people’s reviews but we didn’t experience any problems at all. I had a nice conversation with the owner, and he told me about the parks history and being in the family for 50 years and how important it is to keep it in the family. We will definitely return.
Bottom Line: The campground has a lot of potential and seems to be working toward it. We didn’t experience the “mean staff” mentioned in other reviews, but many amenities were closed during our stay.
Pros:
Pool & Splash Pad: Perfectly sized with plenty to keep kids entertained all day. The gated splash pad was a standout for safety and fun.
Snack Bar: Tasty options at great prices—including soft serve ice cream!
Campsite: Spacious and well-spread-out sites, with many wooded and private options. Ours was right next to the pool and playground (no shade, but came with a pavilion over the picnic table).
Amenities (when available): Bull riding, mini golf, arcade, driving range, BB shooting, bounce house, rock wall, large swing, trikes, park, RC track, gem mining, and more.
Cons:
No Scheduled Activities: A seasonal guest play was offered, but we didn’t attend and can’t speak to its quality.
Single Dumpster Location: Only one trash drop-off for the entire campground.
Limited Amenity Hours: Most attractions were closed. Only the arcade, pool, and mining were open—and only from 12–7 PM.
Cash-Only System: All activities required cash, and the on-site ATM was out of order. We had to leave the grounds to find one, which was also down.
