To get to the trailhead, you have to actually go into Turkey Swamp Park which isn’t far from this address. It’s free to get in, there are public restrooms and plenty of parking.
Rained yesterday so was a little muddy. Shame the Rangers find it necessary to create ruts that make for unsure footing in grass.
For those who don’t know, this area is part of Turkey Swamp Park along the Manasquan River. The field at the address listed is open space across the river from that. There is no bridge or way to get across the river and access Turkey Swamp Park from this address that I saw.
Nice and easy hiking trails conveniently located near Freehold. Beautiful lake with paddle boats.
This is a great park. There’s so much to do here. Excellent mountain trails for biking hiking walking anything you want to do.
Great photo opportunities and generally an awesome community of people who come to this park. There’s miles and miles and miles of trails.
