This park and pond are very beautiful. Great areas to take pictures. I took some of my daughter. Loved how my portraits came out.
Great park except for the morons who allow dogs to roam off leash.
Great place to bring the dogs and go fishing, to all the idiots complaining about animals, boats, and fisherman your at the wrong place. Your at a lake not a shelter/mental hospital. So if you have problems with nature, dogs, fishing, or yourself then please stay home and stop complaining because that will never change. That’s what parks are for. Especially ones with lakes!!!

Great family place, take a hike on even terrain. Lots of picnic tables and benched all around the lake.
The lake is on the large side. The disappointment is that it is definitely on the dirty side. Lots of vegetation in the lake, makes it hard to use the paddle boats.
Bathrooms 🚻- there are 2 outhouses. Considering the size of this lake you would think they would have proper bathrooms, or at least more outhouses .
Definitely handicapped friendly, even the paths.
Nice place for kids, they have a small play area. This is right off the banks of the river, usually some fishing activities happens during the season as well. There is a nice trail for adults for jogging/walking.
