Fredericktown Levering Park is a vibrant public park located at 9 Long St, Fredericktown, Ohio. Known for its community-driven spirit and wide range of amenities, it’s a welcoming place for families, kids, and dog owners looking for an enjoyable outdoor destination. The park boasts wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, a playground, basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, a pavilion with ample seating, and public restrooms that are usually kept clean. Its proximity to local schools and the football field also makes it a convenient spot for family gatherings and sports events.
While the park is spacious and generally maintained, some visitor reviews suggest that maintenance could be improved and that the park experiences periods of increased litter and other issues. Nevertheless, Fredericktown Levering Park remains a popular and convenient meeting point for local residents. This dog-friendly area, while not featuring a dedicated dog park or fenced dog run, provides plenty of open space for pets on-leash and is easily accessible for all.
This place sucks, broken glass everywhere (wear shoes at all time) somebody got stabbed there a few years ago. One time I went there and saw 2 syringes. It’s mostly a place where local deviants and delinquents gather to do all sorts of illegal substances and fight. What they need to do is either fix the place up or tear it down. It is a very dirty skid mark on a very average town that is Fredericktown.
Great baseball and softball venue!
Nice family-friendly park.
Basketball court, softball and baseball fields, pavillion with plentiful seating and public restrooms that are, for the most part, typically clean.
Park is generally also clean. Spacious and plenty areas to park, too. It coexist next to the school and football field, so it remains a convenient spot to host family events or team events.
Park is a little dated and could use some funding and attention from the community.
We have had many gatherings here, and with lots of nieces and nephews from Fredericktown, I am sure many more to come.
Facilities are adequate. No easy way in for visiting band. Difficult to move equipment. Clean and functioned as it should.
We played ball…Freddy birds are tough. Highland Fredericktown is one of my favorite rivals.
