FAQ for Franklinton Park in Franklinton North Carolina:
great park to take your little! a lot of interactive fun for them! my 2 and 6 yo boys love this park when visiting their grandparents
This park has had major improvements and is such a fun time. It has two sides, one for younger kids and one for older kids. There’s a music play area, monkey bars, picnic area, a track and bathrooms as well. It does get very hot in the summer with no shade on the playground itself so the equipment is hot but there is shade by the picnic tables.
Very clean and well maintained equipment! Lare pavilion with tables. 2 playgrounds for different ages groups directly next to each other made it easy to keep and on everyone. Good sight lines. Quiet and not crowded. I wish it had some benches for parents other than the pavilion.
They recently redid this playground & they’ve done a beautiful job! Both of my children, ages 4 & 1, enjoyed playing here. I like that there was that cushioned-type material under all the equipment to soften falls. I also liked that the play areas were spread out. There are 2 large picnic areas, one shaded, the other is uncovered. I wish that there was a restroom but it’s not too big of a deal.
Very nice park for family gatherings. There’s a fenced playground area, a basketball court, and a baseball field. The pavilion is pretty big it also has two extra large grilles in addition to the regular size park grilles. But parts of the park could use a good cleaning of debris. There are also a few tables missing. Sorry I didn’t think of taking better pictures.
