🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Discover K-9 Korral Dog Park, a highly-rated dog park in Franklin, Tennessee, known for its cleanliness, pet-friendly environment, and scenic surroundings. The park features plenty of parking, making it accessible for both local residents and travelers, and is wheelchair accessible with both the entrance and parking lot designed for easy mobility. While there are no internal trails, you’ll find great pet-friendly trails nearby for a post-park stroll.
Dog owners can utilize the fenced areas with separated sections for small and large dogs, providing a safe environment for all pups to play off-leash. There’s a small covered shelter and seating for owners, plus trash bins and picnic tables for a comfortable visit. While water fountains aren’t provided, owners are encouraged to bring water for their pets. The park is generally well-maintained and popular for its friendly community vibe, but it can be crowded, especially evenings and weekends.
It is good dog park but can be very crowded during the weekend or weekday in the evening which is not a great condition for a dog who is potentially reactive. No trail inside the dog park but there is a good trail outside.
We travel across the country on road trips and has to be one of the best dog parks we’ve ever visited.
1. No dog poops on the ground like other dog parks.
2. The owners watch their dogs and will monitor their actions in case they become a bit too rambunctious around smaller dogs. Thank you!
3. People are friendly.
4. The scenery around the park is gorgeous.
Wish we had a dog park this nice where we live.
1 port-o-potty, virtually no shade and no benches aside from the small covered area. Well-maintained for the most part, with separated areas for weight.
The gates only have one area for both sizes of dogs to enter into their prospective parks. Beware of most owners not being polite, leaving the gates open, not waiting for others to exit or enter and taking turns while someone is unleashing their dog, and not controlling aggressive animals.
Many aggressive dogs were going unchecked. Unfortunate to have endured so many unsafe and negative interactions at this park so beware when you take your loved one(s).
Beautiful dog park 😍
Had such a great experience here. We have been passing by this park for a month now and finally had a chance to stop by today and check it out.
It’s a small drive to the backside of the property giving you such a beautiful view of the surrounding land.
Plenty of Parking space for large vehicles or small vehicles.
If you have a camper or a trailer you can park ahead just before coming to the actual park and it would be a small walk for you.
They have seating available.
In my experience today I let my pet run freely and all the other pets were super friendly so it was like watching a bunch of kids playing together 🤣
No worries at all , definitely recommend bringing a gallon of water and a bowl so when your pet gets thirsty he or she doesn’t have to wait.
Bring a few tennis balls that you don’t mind losing.
Bring some snacks for yourself because today we spent nearly 3 hours hanging out here the weather ended up really nice for the dog park 😍
Bring some doggy bags for when your pet has an accident , they have trash cans available for you to throw your waste bags in.
I would definitely recommend you stop by here if you have been interested in a nice dog park for your pet.
Have a wonderful day!!! 😁
We love going to this park. We have only had one bad experience. It was with a new dog owner that wasn’t in control of his dog. Thankfully it wasn’t to serious.
