Located at 366 Lincoln St, the Dog Park at Dacey Community Field is a vibrant hub for dog owners in Franklin, Massachusetts. This clean, well-maintained park is known for its friendly and social atmosphere, with regular visitors and well-socialized pups. The park features ample shaded tree cover and plenty of room for dogs to run off-leash, making it an ideal spot for energetic dogs to play and make new friends. Owners can relax on numerous benches and tables, and the park also offers dog-friendly hiking and access to pet-friendly trails nearby.
The park stands out for its accessible design, including wheelchair-accessible parking, a mulched surface, and proximity to restrooms (portable toilets are available in the upper parking lot). While the park provides dog waste bags, trash bins, and an agility ramp for extra fun, be sure to bring your own water, as there are no built-in water fountains. Families will also appreciate the nearby playground and athletic fields, making it a destination for both two- and four-legged community members year-round.
I’m my experience, this is a pretty friendly, clean and comfortable park to bring your pups to. The owners are very good at handling their dogs 8/10 times. But I’m some cases of course, you may run into an issue here or there. There seems to be solid regulars who go, so if you’re looking for a dog community, this is a great place to start! Many benches and tables to sit and chat and even a small agility ramp if you want to teach your dog some tricks. Trashes and poop bags provided, as well as many drinking bowls and tennis balls, but feel free to bring your own.
Great little dog park, where I have found mostly good owners and great friendly doggies. Plenty of seating, but you must bring your own water for the pups.
Love this dog park. It’s clean. People do pick up after their dogs. Plenty of parking. There is plenty of room for your dog to full out run. Of course, the dogs are the best part.
I have brought my dear Pitty mix to this park from the day I rescued him two years ago. The park is very well kept. The other dog parents are a delight to see and be with. The dogs are all well socialized. Best part of my day and Tim’s. 🩷🐶
Nice park tucked away at the bottom of the hill from the parking lot. Mostly mulched ground with lots of tree cover. Friendly people!
Trash and bags, but no water, though.
My dog had fun playing queen of the mountain.
