Never played but lived all my life around the horseshoe courts and the park. All clean and kept up with maintenance. It would be a good place to go and play.

It was clean and mowed. Nice place to hold the state horseshoe tournament. It was interesting hearing the history behind the naming of the park and great to know that his grandson followed the tradition of pitching shoes. My husband’s family are also horseshoe pitchers.
