Located at 110 Dudley Rd, Farm Pond Dog Park is one of the largest and most popular dog parks in Massachusetts. Open since summer 2022, this spacious, fully fenced park provides both a designated small dog area and a large dog area, making it ideal for pet owners who want a safe, off-leash environment for dogs of all sizes. With scenic views of Farm Pond and proximity to a skate park, there’s always something engaging for dogs and their owners to enjoy.
This pet-friendly haven features water fountains, benches, agility equipment, shaded spots, and free poop bags. The sloped terrain offers plenty of space for dogs to run and play, though it can be a bit dusty due to limited grass. There is wheelchair-accessible parking, and the park is accessible for families and children who want to enjoy time with their pets. The dog park is particularly peaceful during weekdays, making it a favorite for those seeking a quieter outing in Framingham.
My dog and I love this playground. But people who bring small dogs to the playground for large dogs, what do you think? Medium and large dogs that playing in groups can have a prey drive for small dogs and just might hurt your small dog. I actually saw happened in this park.
Rules are made up for a reason, think about it.
It’s a fantastic resource to have around. The small dog area is usually empty, but my pups enjoy the off-leash time there. My medium-sized dog can sometimes go to the busier large-dog area, and people and dogs are pleasant. This dog park has a lovely view of the Pond and is next to a skate park, so there is always something cool to watch. My dogs and I also enjoy a stroll down the pond bank to watch the swans and the water view.
We are there since its opening day in summer 2022
Pros: it is the biggest dog park we’ve been to, in MA, with water fountains, slope and other good facilities
Cons: the slope can be pretty dusty as there’s barely any grass
We haven’t visited it for the whole winter and surprisingly to see there’s no single dog today in either side, 4:30pm in such good weather, not sure if I missed anything
This is a great place to bring your dog during the week, weekends are busy and the rules are no abided by, small dogs are in the large dog side along with small children who don’t understand how dogs play. Toys are brought in and it creates a problem when small children try to take the toys away from the dog. Some child is going to get hurt as a result of not paying attention to the rules of the large dog area. I have a 2 year older GSD though he’s gentle he doesn’t understand children reaching for toys. I love bringing him to the park during the week he’s has other big dogs he loves to play with. In short the rules should be somehow enforced or an accident is going to happen.
My dog loves it here. Lots of space. Separate area for small dogs and some cool obstacle equipment. Benches to sit, water, and poop bags available.
