🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Discover Desert Vista Dog Park, one of the most spacious and dog-friendly places to let your pup run free in Fountain Hills, Arizona. This park features large open fields, making it ideal for both small and large dogs to exercise, play, and socialize. The park stands out for its friendly local crowd and welcoming atmosphere where owners and their dogs can enjoy the Arizona outdoors together.
The park boasts separate, double-gated entrances for small and large dogs, providing added safety and comfort. While there is plenty of seating and a shaded area with benches for owners, visitors should note the importance of bringing your own water bowl—though fresh water and donated bowls are often available. With ample space, shade, and a few thoughtful amenities like hoses and baby pools in the summer, Desert Vista is perfect for both energetic pups and those who enjoy a little cooling off. The park is also wheelchair accessible and good for families with children.
Great place to let ur dogs run around off leash. Lots of space and water. Nice folks come to the park and dogs all get along.
The park itself is amazing.
There’s 2 issues at hand.
The parks and rec guys who want to police the park and do nothing to maintain it. And the infestation of Sonoran desert toads that are dangerous to our pets that nobody does anything about.
I’ve stressed this issue to multiple parks and rec staff whose only concern is to lock the gate at night and kick you out.
And the town of fountain hills also does nothing to solve this problem.
I myself removed 3 toads tonight at the park this is insane.
Nicely big. Please pick up after your dogs people. FYI, a dog with a sensitive stomach and likes to each others poop will get sick bc people will not pick up after their dogs. Many dogs are fed anything and some dogs will get sick from their poop. Try chasing a dog that can run 20 mph. It’s not possible.
The grass is seedier than I remember in previous years, but otherwise good condition. Fresh water (bring your own bowl) available. Lots of room for your dogs, small and big, to roam and play.
Very big and separate entrances for small and large dogs which is great. Small shaded area with some benches. Nice to have a hose and a baby swimming pool for the dogs during the summer. Lots of donated bowls, just make sure to fill with clean water upon arrival. Cash and Kali approved 🐾
