If you’re searching for a friendly, well-maintained dog park in Foster City, California, Foster City Dog Park is a wonderful spot for dogs and their owners. Located at 1001 Bounty Dr, this park features separated, fully fenced areas for both small (under 25 lbs) and large dogs, ensuring pets of all sizes can play and socialize safely. Off-leash rules allow your furry friends to run, fetch, and make new companions while owners enjoy a sociable community atmosphere.
This dog-friendly space offers artificial turf to help keep dogs clean, water stations (though they’re sometimes in need of maintenance), trash bins, and poop bags for easy cleanup. The park is wheelchair accessible, offers nearby public restrooms, and has ample free parking. While shade and seating are limited, the convenient layout and separation of dog sizes make it a favorite for locals and visitors alike looking for a reliable dog park in Foster City.
Absolutely loved the park!! It has small and large dog areas separated
It’s a nice dog park, a little small. Has separate areas for small and big dogs. I would like there to be more cover and shade though. On hot days it can be rough. The fake grass doesn’t help with the temperature situation either.
Great little dog park in Foster City. Park is divided in two separated areas: little/medium dogs (less than 25 pounds) and big dogs (greater than 25 pounds). The floor of the park is made of artificial grass, due that the Park is relatively clean. The park provides water, trash can, and plastic bags. Parking is easily available as well restrooms. I highly recommend this park for dog owners.
A great dog park! They have a small dog and big dog section which I always appreciate. It’s kind of small but enough space to run around and play. The people and dogs were all friendly. We were passing through while traveling and surprised at how nice Foster City was.
A reliable off-leash space for dogs of all sizes, this park balances playfulness and order. Separate gated sections for large and small dogs help manage energy levels, and the mulch ground covering offers decent paw comfort while reducing mud. Regulars tend to be courteous, and there’s a shared sense of routine among weekday visitors. Shade and seating are minimal, and the water fountain is inconsistently maintained—consider bringing your own.
Accessibility is fair: the gravel paths are navigable with caution, but may be difficult for wheelchairs or strollers. Parking is abundant and free in adjacent lots. It’s ideal for early mornings or sunset hours when lighting is softer and crowds thin.
