Really nice space for community meetings and recreation activities. The parking lot could have been designed better to facility traffic movement.
Needs updating.. like moons agoPlayground, bbq area..everything. Come on City of FW.
Nice family type park with a kid’s playground in a quiet neighborhood off Craig Street bordered by Loop 820 and houses on 3 sides. There is plenty of parking in the lot and on Haynie Street. It has a community center on site also. There are two pavilions (old and new area) and two play areas along with several benches and some table/grill areas. There is also a football field and a baseball field near it. Lots of area to spread a blanket out for a picnic. There are usually just a few people there so it’s not too crowded except for holidays. It’s a good place to go with the family to enjoy.
every couple of years, we come to vote early. it looks like a safe place to bring the dog & the baby, so we’ll likely be back more often. it’s been hard to find a safe, clean, accessible playground around here, so we appreciate this place.
It’s a small but peaceful park, but the true gem is the attached community center & their staff. They plan many events for the community and have an after-school program, a senior program, sports teams, a gym and much more.I visit often and it’s always quite enjoyable 💚
