Love this park and the ducks here …there is trash that’s needs to make it to the trash cans but over all not too bad I’ve seen worse….if it’s ur first visit know that the bridge u go over there are sometimes ducks crossing so PLEASE PLEASE….go 🐌 slow…ur almost there….there’s a nice sidewalk that around the pond…u can fish here but now 2023 in Sept the water line is extremely and I mean extremely L O W..and I ve never actually seen, anyone pull a fish out that was bigger than a few inches with that said I’m not there watching all the time either..I just pass time while my kid in mma class…really glad I saw this place its kinda in a weird spot..I wouldn’t think it was there unless u knew lol…I have never been in the building so not sure on that but it’s a good place to walk and feed ducks ( not bread people bring greens for them kale dark greens , broccoli, grapes, etc and no citrus or corn either) I didn’t have a clue that bread was especially bad for Them till recently so it’s just fyi now bread is just a expensive as veggies so bring veggies they will be healthier for it..

We went there for the fishing! Not me, for my grandson! I stay in the car and crochet baby blankets! Lololol! There are picnic accomodations, portable restroom s,and ample space for fishing enthusiasts! While there, We sat out a hail and thunderstorm, then went up the street to Taco Casa, ate, dried off, and went back to the park so that he could catch some catfish after the fresh rainstorm. Just for a little while.
