FAQ for Canterbury Green Dog Park – Residents Only in Fort Wayne Indiana:
They need to add doggy bag dispensers like Waterloo, Auburn & Hamilton. Maybe then they could save money by cutting back on the NULL fine for not cleaning up after your dog signs. The trails seem to flood out a lot. Public restrooms seem to always be locked.
Nice little fenced in park. Benches and dog poopie station. Well maintained.
I love this place! My dog and I went for the first time yesterday. We had a blast. She ran around and got to explore. I also love that it has a few benches for all the dog parents to sit down and chat. Will definitely be going back.
Lovely place, great people, and we’ll be returning regularly! They provide trash and bags, you’ll want to bring water and a bowl for your dogs. Be sure to watch out for any unruly dogs, as there are always a couple bad apples in any group, but over all they seem pretty good so far. Will update if that changes. They have daily meet ups at the park which seem to be pretty populated from 3-7 ish. A few regulars show up earlier in the day but I’m told it’s more quiet. I went from about 3-7 and it stayed pretty busy on a day with only semi good weather.
Loved it, our dog loved it. Decent amount of space. Does have a lot of dirt parts which I imagine get quite muddy when wet out. We loved the hydrant that misted water to keep the doggies cool. I wish people would pick up poop after their dogs though, poop bags and trash can provided, don’t understand why people don’t utilize them!!!
It is comfortable place for living and had this flowers in the spring, but you have to find it.
