Big open space with nice picnic area. Snack bar open when large crowds expected like on Saturdays in the fall. Lots of good pokemon go activity.

Normie, my puggle really enjoys the pups he meets here. The people are very friendly, too. Good conversation is easy to strike up while you watch your canine friends play. The local township does an excellent job of keeping the place up. Fences are intact, gates open and close easily and provide proper security. There are plenty of fresh wood chips to cover the ground. Normie is small (about 16 pounds). The folks here are serious about allowing only small dogs into the small dog area and for Normie and me, that’s a good thing. If you try to bring a larger dog into the small dog area when small dogs owners are inside with their dogs you will very likely be asked to move your dog to the big dog section. Like all dog parks, the grass does get torn up and it can get muddy after a lot of rain or snow so bring your boots. There was a porta-potty near the park if you really need some relief. Parking is reasonably plentiful.

Mondauk Manor Park, known locally as Mondauk Common Park, is a cherished community space located in Ambler, Pennsylvania. It’s celebrated for its well-maintained walking trails and provides an ideal setting for various group events, including family gatherings and church picnics. The park also features the MonDaug Bark Park, a popular off-leash dog area that opened in 2005, offering a dedicated space for dogs and their owners to enjoy. However, it’s worth noting that as of March 27, 2024, the Bark Park is temporarily closed for renovations, with plans to enhance the area with new grass cover, tree plantings, and other site improvements. Despite this, the park continues to be a go-to spot for locals seeking outdoor recreation and community activities.

the dog areas are separate which is awesome. one for 25lbs and under, and another one for bigger dogs. there are bowl available but no fresh water, so bring your own water, the fenced play area has toys for the dogs and benches for the owner to sit. it also looks like there’s a trail in the back but we didn’t get to explore because of how cold it was… definitely coming back in the spring
