Well, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. No way around it. They are absolutely terrifyingly disgusting. And the picnic areas are almost as bad. What is it? You people think because we have dogs we don’t mind nastiness?? Well we do!! It is not a clean park. It looks well kept until you get up close. They should have someone that cleans that place. And they should put in some kind of laminated flooring and walls in the restrooms so that it cleans up easy because it’s very difficult to clean concrete unless you have a hose.

On a better note I very much enjoyed taking my dog for a walk there because he loved it. He absolutely loved it. He loved being around all the other dogs he loved going for a walk and peeing all over everything lol I miss him terribly and he did love that park . He didn’t care how gross it was lol.

My favorite dog beach in Florida!!! Dogs play off-leash and beach is clean. There is plenty of sand, but also a patch of open grass for dogs to swim and then play fetch. There are fenced small/large dog areas and a station to wash your dogs and rinse your feet off afterwards. There’s also a separate park for hoomans with a long trail, volleyball net, playground, fishing dock, and boat ramp. Seriously have everything you’d want plus free parking. I brought my pup every weekend to play for about 1-2 hours and have kayaked with him from the boat ramp to the small islands near by. Would recommend this beach 1000%. I live in St. Petersburg now and no dog beach compares.

Dogs loved swimming. I appreciate the hose to rinse them. We went in the evening and the place WREAKED with pot smoke which makes me nauseous! Other than that, it was nice for my dogs.

We really enjoyed this park. There is 2 large dog parks, each divided for small and large animals. When you have two big dogs like us. You want that.
Plenty of shade, picnic tables, walking track and much more.
Our dogs were able to enjoy the beach and ocean. This place is Fort Walton Best kept secret for dogs!
