Nice setup… A little sad for the kids that the road cuts through it though
I like Loomis but the directions Maps will give you leads you to a parking lot on the other side of Amigos then you have to walk quite a bit to get to the actual park. If you’re going here find an alternative entrance so far Maps hasn’t led me to one so we had to go find one on the other side that would let us directly into the park. Otherwise your parking in a gravel lot next to a business and I think it’s okay to park there but I’m not sure we didn’t try because we didn’t want to risk the car getting towed and it would have been a long walk to actually get to the Park area itself
Playgrounds, hiking trails, picnics, and restrooms available on site of Loomis.
Took my daughter there when my grandfather passed away and it was really nice to get away and it was a pretty park.
Very nice clean park by the river, beautiful fall colors and tables to eat. Great for a afternoon picnic.
