This park is very nice. Lots of open space and 3 separate gated off areas. One for shy dogs, one for general use and one with more trees and a pond for the dogs to play in. Lots of parking at the park even though there are lots of events like soccer games and party’s at the huge park right by there which is good for a walk when you want your dog to dry off before going home. The dogs there are usually well behaved but like with any dog park it is good to be cautious until your dog is comfortable. Also don’t bring your dog if you know it’s going to be a problem.
Open in the winter but they shut off the water and drain the pond for the winter. Only thing is the fences are about 4 foot tall. If you have a flight risk it might be better to find a park with higher fences.

Perfect place to come entertain your pups. Serveral different sized gated areas for various dog needs. Plenty of trails to walk, run, and bike. Take my pug every day

Awesome dog park, what a wonderful place to take your dog any season. They do have a body of water for the dogs to play in when it’s warmer.

The pond at the Spring Creek Dog Park is filled and open as of last week 😎
It’s my dog, Bertie’s first experience in the pond. I got him as a puppy this time last year but wasn’t able to get us there until late winter this year. So wonderful to experience a young pup get adventurous enough to swim out in the water. “Doggy see, doggy copycat.” 🥰

Went here today with my dog Walter and two more family pups after a hike, and this place was everything a dog park should be. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has separate areas for big and small dogs which makes it super safe. There’s so much space for them to run, chase, and play—and Walter was in absolute heaven! We met friendly owners, the double gates gave us peace of mind, and the surrounding park with trails and views just adds to the charm. Easily one of our favorite places in Fort Collins. If your dog loves exploring and you love a safe, beautiful spot to unwind—Spring Canyon is the move. Highly recommend!
