Love the dog park here. I’ve met a few very friendly dogs and people but there is often no one else in the dog park. Always plenty of kiddos on the playground though to give my dog some lovin.

The place is clean, and large enough. Clean up bags are provided. The walk from the parking lot to the dog space is short and pleasant. But there is not one single amenity besides two picnic tables. No trees, no shade, no comfortable place to be except in the pounding sun. I always carry water. If there is water or a pump I didn’t see it. Too bad it’s so uncomfortable. It would be a great space if it had some form of shade.

There are often homeless people near the parking lot, using the grills or hanging out in the shade there. No one is scary, they just don’t look up or say hello. They don’t bother you, or at least they have never bothered me. My low rating is about the dog park itself, not the people. Give us some shade!

Nice quiet spot to relax. Relatively spacious dog park. Magpie Meander leads to a beautiful pond.

This is a nice park with grass throughout. There is some dirt and gravel, but it’s nice to have grass under the paws, as well. I have three major complaints. It’s about 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot. There is no shade. There is no resource for water. I really wish the city would expend a little more effort on making this dog park more user friendly. It’s much closer to my location then some of the more well-known dog parks in Fort Collins.

Nice little fenced area for my boy Freddy to run and play with his tennis ball off leash. Never crowded and I have only met nice dogs and owners there
