Reviews
It’s just a simple little hometown playground. And it meets all the hometown needs.
It has lots of shade and area to let the kids out to run and play. The park has a basketball court along with a covered picnic area that, for a few quarters, you can have lights too. There are some restrooms but they are closed in the winter. Old school playground equipment, so mostly metal, if it’s hot you can burn yourself. Over all nice place to stop and rest or have a picnic lunch. I came on Octoberfest for Forsyth so a lot more people then normal.
Marcyees Park is very beautiful! I’m so proud of all the upgrades that have recently been done. The grass is so green and is mowed on a regular basis. The local Garden Club members plant and take care of the gorgeous flowers.
Great classic small town park. Shelter, restrooms and super playground for the kids to run around and play. A ball diamond and basketball hoop. All well kept and cared for. Picnic tables are solid and clean. Forsyth should be proud of this nice little park.
Loved the historical pictures and story displayed at park. Very clean , comfortable and well maintained. Understand reasoning for “no dogs in park” but we are responsible dog owners who pick up da poop!
