Located in Forest, Virginia, the New London Tech Trails offer pet owners and their furry companions an extensive network of multi-use trails perfect for dog-friendly hiking and exploration. The trails are well maintained, mostly wide open singletracks, and are broken into color-coded loops, making it easy for both beginners and experienced hikers or bikers. Well-suited for a family adventure, the location also features a disc golf course and plenty of parking for easy access.
While these pet-friendly trails are ideal for walking your dog and enjoying the great outdoors, visitors should be aware that they are also popular with mountain bikers, so awareness and leash control are recommended for safety. The scenic woods at New London Tech Trails make it a unique outdoor destination, and wildlife like deer is commonly spotted along the way. Be mindful of snakes during hot weather, and enjoy an active outing with your four-legged friend in this versatile trail system in Bedford County.
Even with current construction, that looks like it is maybe indefinite currently, the orange trail, which is about 4.2 miles, is an awesome walk through the woods. Didn’t take my phone so no photos, but got to see many deer (some unique coloring as well). This trail has been very well marked as well!

Great easy to access trails for biking and hiking, broken into different loops that are color coded. Wide open singletrack for the entire trail. No big hills and nothing too technical so it’s great for riders of all skill levels. There’s a yellow trail jump line connected to orange. Easy access if you take the street on the left before Simplimatic on the way in. Plenty of parking. Also, great disc golf course.

These are supposedly multi-use trails. I guess they are but they seem more geared towards favoring mountain bikers since hikers or walkers are a bit at risk. The trails are well maintained and clear, but marking is sparse. Bikers are moving fast, so if you do decide to hike these trails, remain aware and ready to step aside quickly.
