7 acres to run free. My dog cannot live without this park. Dog owners typically do a good job of maintaining their dog while letting them sort it out when possible. There’s always someone who isn’t as on top of it but for the most part it’s a good community.

What a Cook County scam! Even though I pay taxes which support the forest preserves, I am still required to pay an additional NULL annual fee. Dog owners are also required to provide documentation from a vet (more $) especially since my annual dog tag/rabies tag fee requires all necessary vaccinations. This is the only public park that charges a fee to use. Like I said, a total rip-off.

This is a nice place and well worth the NULL a year for the controlled admission to three Cook County Forest Preserve dog parks. I had seven acres to myself today. Sometimes a few other vaccinated dogs are here to run with my dog. It’s a serene place.

We love bringing our dogs here to play. So much space for pups to run around. The park district takes good care of the grounds to make sure the dogs are safe. It’s worth the application and permit fee to have access here. We live about 10 minutes away and frequent here Atleast 2-3 times a week. You also get access to two other fantastic parks within the park district system.
