Located at 122 Park St, Trails to Tails Dog Park offers a convenient spot for local dog owners to let their pets run and play off-leash in Forest City. The park is completely fenced, providing peace of mind for owners looking for a secure environment. Though on the smaller side, this dog park features separate areas for large and small dogs, making it safe and fun for all breeds to socialize or exercise. The nearby bike and walking paths add to the dog-friendly experience with pleasant strolls through the park’s pet-friendly trails.
Amenities at Trails to Tails include a covered picnic table for owner comfort, water access (though sometimes limited), and easy access to local paved paths for a change of scenery. While there is limited shade in the dog area, the community atmosphere, opportunities for socializing, and proximity to the Forest City trail system set this park apart for area dog lovers. It’s an ideal spot whether you’re local or just visiting, especially for quick play sessions and meetups in a safe, contained setting.
It is very small. There was a variety of waters to use but only 1 worked. There is a fire hydrant and whether it was intentional or not, had a steady leak. Slow enough that I couldn’t see where it was leaking from but there was a large continuous puddle of water which my girl loved. It was hot and there was no shade trees or any kinda of shadefor dogs visiting
your pups can run off leash there’s water as well
Fantastic dog park for even bigger dogs! It is small, but they certainly can run and enjoy being off-leash. Locals are great to talk to and it is a good part of the community. Thanks for letting us visit!
This is not a dog park, it is a dog containment area. It’s about the size of three parking spots with zero shade. If your dog is larger than toy size it will not be able to run, let alone walk. However it is Interesting if you put a larger alpha in there, because it will quickly turn into the “octagon”! Probably why they need it so close to the police .
There were no other dogs during this visit but I love that there’s a place to let my little guy be a dog and run around safely. Getting to walk on the nearby bike/walking path is a bonus. There is a single covered picnic table. Don’t recall if there were more up around the paved walking section where the trail is. On other visits there have been dogs large and small to run with. There are two sections when larger dogs aren’t good with the smaller ones.
