Fontana Dog Park, located in the heart of Fontana, California, is a well-loved destination for local dog owners seeking a fun, secure, and pet-friendly environment. This dog park features separate fenced areas for both large and small dogs, allowing pets of all sizes to run off-leash and interact safely. The park is praised for its cleanliness, regular maintenance, and the availability of seating and benches where owners can relax while their pets socialize and play.
Convenient amenities make Fontana Dog Park stand out. Doggie water fountains ensure pups stay hydrated during their playtime, and waste bag stations help keep the park clean and enjoyable for everyone. While the park offers a welcoming atmosphere and some agility obstacles, there is limited shade—something to keep in mind during warmer days. Additional highlights include convenient parking, paved walking paths, and access to the nearby Jessie Turner Center and children’s playground, making it a great outing for the whole family.
Great local dog park! Clean, well-maintained, and perfect for letting my pup run off-leash. Love the separate areas for big and small dogs. Could use more shade, but overall a great spot!
Beautiful park. There is a play area for the kids and the icecream man. Dog park, skate park and pool. There is also Jessie Turner center there where fitness and educational classes are available
great place to take your dogs to a walk or make new furry friends, Sunday evening best time to take them, there are so many dogs different breeds and sizes, some of them are friendly some are not 😂, the park has water fountain for them to drink fresh and clean water also provides waste bags so we can keep our park clean, my dogs love this park
I like this dog park it’s in a nice area and all the dogs that were there were nice and well behaved.there are 2 parts one park for small dogs which is really really small and the other side for big dogs but everyone just goes to the big dog park.the fences on the big dog park side should be taller because there only about 4 feet tall and they should put up signs for the entrances and exits.they have a few small obstacles and a drinking fountain and a poop bag station with some benches.
The Fontana Dog Park is in a developing community of N. Fontana (1⭐). Lots of new homes. The adjacent park for people has long sidewalks, a trail, and aquatic center (1⭐). Now, I understand it’s a dog park, but is there suppose to be so much dog poop everywhere? I wasn’t happy to see a dirt lot and two dried up trees for the small breed area (-1⭐). There are electrical towers that are so close, you can hear the electricity sizzling through the power lines (-1⭐). Then there are the gopher holes, around the perimeter of the dog park, and in the dog park itself (-1⭐). Too bad. This park has potential, but it definitely needs some TLC.
