Beautiful access to Folsom Lake. Aside from the boat ramp, there are lots of picnic tables overseeing the lake. The water is relatively close to picnic areas.

It’s a nice place to spend time near a lake with family and friends, but nothing too spectacular, there is also some construction going on so that doesn’t help. It’s a good place but I do feel NULL is a bit too high of an entry fee for such a place.

The trail here was very fantastic and enjoyable. I usually walked from the Browns Ravines Trailhead on the other side and the view from the other side was great.
There is a grassy field during the trail, so you can play ball with your dog, and it’s connected to the trail course on the other side, so you can adjust the trail distance according to you.
There are a lot of picnic tables and barbecue grills are prepared, so I think it would be great as a picnic place as well .
Fee area for NULL.00 so parked the car at 99 ranch market and walked 4 mile.
Strongly recommend !!

Water level is extremely low, but that allows for some nice hikes down to the shore. Plenty of bbq grills and this point has a nice view of the sunset. Not as busy during that time, much more busy during the day. A lot of open space if your pup is trained to be off-leash. If not, good times either way 🤙

Sure the water is extremely low as a result of the low rain fall this year and California being in a drought but I must say the water still felt nice and cool and looked decent! It’s not as mucky as you’d think it to be for being as low as it is. The walk to the water isn’t so bad, it’s the trek back up the hill to your vehicle that does it! That’s the only negative thing that I have to say about my visit. Otherwise it’s a great spot to cool off and hang with the family. Bathrooms are clean and the parking is good.
