We did a commercial painting job there and no reliable communication at all. The bill has yet to be collected and cant get a single person to give us an answer as to why. If this is how they are with contractors imagine how they are with resdients.
If you love the person needing care, DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS HOLE. As poorly run a facility as you’ll find. I have so much regret sending my father to this horrible place.
My Dad has been at Folkston since May 2024. The Nursing Home was under a different management at that time which was the worst ever. Recently a new Nursing Director by the name of Samantha Vassel had come on board and made some very positive changes at Folkston Park. The changes have been refreshing and she has cleaned the place of some very horrible staff members.She is committed to the task at hand and she responds to questions and phone calls promptly. I am pleased with the changes she has made and I look forward to the improvements at Folkston Park in the future.
My ex- husband was filthy. They didn’t know he was diabetic until a couple of days before he left. Social was a liar and didn’t care about his needs. They didn’t even talk to VA before he left. He is completely disabled. Can’t feed himself.Chokes on water..
