Thread Lake Park

Thread Lake Park in Flint offers a peaceful natural setting with great views and wildlife, perfect for nature lovers and birdwatchers. Parking is available on the street and the park is best enjoyed during the daytime due to safety concerns after dark. Dogs are welcome to enjoy the park with their owners.

One great thing often overlooked in Flint are the great parks our city’s forefathers had the vision to create.
Lake was low due to the repair on the dam. Still plenty of wildlife and birdwatching in the area. Update:
Thread Lake has been returned to it’s natural form as of July 2018!
